Since the very beginning, the Inter-Mahallah Cultural Week 2005 did not give any chances to end the controversy. Yet, the result was clear, Mahallah Ali emerged as the overall champion for this competition.
The International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM), being a garden of knowledge and virtue welcome many students from different backgrounds, cultures and ethnic groups around the world.
Even among the Malaysians, they come from various groups from different states together with their unique customs and tradition.
As a symbol of appreciation of this idea, Mahallah Ali participated in all programs and competitions that have been designed throughout the 3rd Inter-Mahallah Cultural Week (IMCW) from 27th to 29th, December 2005.
IMCW aims to be the platform of integration and it is a golden opportunity for Mahallah Ali to uphold the university’s mission and vision by participating in all three categories that includes, drama, cultural performance and singing competition.
Mahallah Ali was annouced as the winner for the drama and singing category. Meanwhile, in the cultural performance, Mahallah Ali only won the second place next to Mahallah Farouq.
