Gombak- International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) and Pantai Education Sdn. Bhd. created a history in Malaysia health care management education system today during the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) signing ceremony at Ambank Seminar Room 1, IIUM.
Both agree to expand the potential of health care management at a professional level in the country. Those who involves in this profession would be given education regarding health management and a certificate once they graduate.
According to IIUM’s Rector, Professor Dato Dr Syed Arabi Idid, ” With the name of IIUM that has been known as an international education centre, it is our hope to see this cooperation could develop human ability to fulfill the empty seats in health management market.”
While Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Pantai Education Sdn. Bhd., Dr Mohd Yusop Ahmad mentioned the lackness of health education for working people has encouraged Pantai to establish a professional education program.
“With optimal trainings which are flexible and syllabus that fulfill the necessity of a working individual, it could give a good impact and thus it could uphold the clinical service in our country.”
Eight modules that suit with local education system have been introduced. Seven of them are general management and another one involves with the hospital management.
The most interesting part is the students do not have to follow the syllabus modules consecutively. The modules that will involve with mini cases and group work help the students to understand this profession better from time to time. – ALIF Newsletter
